Thanks BFYOOT. I am pretty sure some of the guys have already planned our route. I am unaware as I have never done it before.

Be sure to keep an eye on this thread - you may be able to join up with us at some stage and say hello?

Cheers
Stu

We will be meeting at the BP in Watson at 9.30am for a 9.45am departure. We have not booked anywhere for lunch but we will probably be eating somewhere in Huskisson on Jervis Bay.

The trip is going to be Canberra - Bungendore - Tarago - Nerriga - past HMAS Albatross - then Huskisson - there is about 2 km's of very good graded dirt road - the trip is scenic and pleasant - travelling at normal speeds the trip is 2.5hrs - if you need fuel you actually have to head towards Nowra about 5km's north from turnoff onto princess highway - Huskisson is a couple of km's south from the turnoff onto princess highway

Nerriga to Albatross is a great road, fast, flowing, smooth & with little traffic.

My GT loves it . Have fun.

Dave do not worry - Barbara leaves her finger nail prints in her seat - I promise that the trip is only 2.5hrs travelling at the legal speed limit - on the rare occassion that we go slightly faster - then it will be unnoticable to the shotgun - Chris forgot that not all of us have the GT-P blower - for all of our friends in Nowra - we will meet you at the sports fields at HMAS Albatross at 12:15pm or there abouts - we will be on channel 10 and my mobile is 0419 464 191 if you want to contact me

Dave - Just realised that the best way for the shotgun not to notice the crusing speed is to make sure they have an E-Reader - they are so engrossed in the E-Reader they do not know what is happening around them - works great on Barbara - food for thought

Thanks Bill, but the passenger can't be distracted. I even suggested a quiet snooze on the back seat....

Yeah, it is a bit hard to hide that subtle onset of power called boost. Not like some of us with 2 more cylinders that have all that torque from down low - smoothly!

Guys, I think that I might be out, as I am only putting the big girl back together tomorrow. Not sure if I want to do a long haul as the maiden run.

Cheers
Stu

More like too much talk than torque. We'll miss ya Stu, but just in case you cruise, I do have a tow strap and 1000nm of torque to get you out of trouble. (just in case you need a tow).

The beast is broken (clutch) so we can't go to the beach tomorrow. Shotgun is very disappointed as the bikini has already been packed!
