Think yourself lucky ..... $2.21 for 95 in rural areas and down south in the shakey isles about 70% is tax put there by our dysfunctional government so we can spend 27 million on a flag referendum which failed (still have the old flag ) .....it was gonna be John Keys claim to fame .....so he gave himself a knighthood sir Don Key ....and then said he did it for his Mrs :

7 news this morning showed E10 is down to 92c in western suburbs of Sydney but still $1.40 in eastern burbs where all the rich people live.

They also said these prices won't stay this low for long.

The price for 91 is back to over $1.30/L in Adelaide.

Took two weeks for the price to drop and two hours for it to rise by nearly 40c/L?

I filled up with 98 at my local 7 Eleven (North Lake Macquarie area) yesterday at $1.19/L, today 98 at the same servo is $1.50/L.

How the F*%K can it just jump up 30 cents/L overnight?

How and why are they allowed to get away with this 'gouging' when the Barrel price is still only around $50.

Probably the same way that Airlines and the accommodation industry do.

While in Tahatti during August, I noted the price of fuel was a bit cheaper than Aussie prices. The tour guide told us that they get their fuel from.....yes....Australia. We love being screwed hey?

I put $40 worth @ $1.39 in my knock about Honda Accord , an old 1984 model last night. This was 91 RON.
I should be thankful because lots of places in Tasmania it's even more and way way more in other parts of Australia and New Zealand apparently.
Last time I looked last week 95 RON that I run for my FG XR6 and AU was $1.47 in my little country town. Cheers Rod.

No disrespect taken. I reckon the guide might know, being a Tahitian local and is well aware that our fuel is imported. Kind of like other areas buying meat from Rockhampton and selling it cheaper than Rockhampton butchers.

Surely servo's will start putting prices up accordingly?
