Default Next job Bumper fix

Hving fixed the leakng sunroof in my sons EB my attention has turned to his dull bumpers. The car is met. silver and I assume the insert is a dark grey.
The bumper has faded so much I'm not sure.
The paint work is OK.
Any suggestions on what to do with the non paint section in the bumper?

there is a special bumper polish you can get, comes in grey and black, rub it in and buff it off... needs a few coats though
