I'm back on the 19th - so I've got summernats to look forward to, and a bit more time tinkering in the shed.

Went and got 4 new drive tyres for the truck this morning, called them up and said I am on my way in and they said 7 trucks sitting doing nothing, you may as well go home.
Call in the morning too, looks like nothing until Wednesday when the asphalt plant starts up again.
So here I am at home, some blokes sitting at quarry doing nothing, I would rather be at home doing nothing.

Hopefully work this year will see me going to PNG numerous times.

Was meant to be back today but sorting out some issues with the ute. So while I'm waiting for my ute to come back I'm browsing the job sites looking for a new job. Pity I can't find a HR driving job in Bendigo :(

Will be back tomorrow at work... fun fun

I start at 3pm this afternoon. Luckily I only have to to 2 hours (get paid for 3) and then come home again.
Won't have any real work until school goes back and need buses again.

Don't go back till the 11th. Would have been middle of feb but I was forced to take leave last year, so I didn't have as much time off as I would have liked. Ohwell.

Yeah first day back.... it is very quiet. Most of our suppliers and clients are still away.

So catching up on emails, filing emails, database cleans ups etc so that we can get ready for the onslaught. But it is very very hard to get motivated to work today !!

I actually went to work today, but could have been working the whole time.

What a lovely day it was working today too, stinking hot, sitting on tarmac between a 20ft container and a truck, trying to bend 185mm2 thick strand copper cable, and heat shrink lugged ends.
