To be fair, the Mazda 6 has a new dash with the just launched facelift, which does make things a bit more even. But better than Mondeo? That's a tough call.

Coming from one of those said "Bogan RWD nutters" the new Mondeo looks brilliant! I live in Asia where they have had this thing for 2 years or so, and its by far and away the best looking sedan in the luxury to budget categories over here! They are becoming very popular round here, with more and more people buying them. Fords styling team got it right with this one!

Still wont buy one though due to the wrong wheels doing the driving. No matter what anyone says, it's my choice.

Its a ripping looking car but its built to price so it wont ever be (in theory) as "good looking" as say something that sneaks in at under $100k. Otherwise you would feel pretty ripped off spending that extra $40k.

There are many many good looking cars at the moment, pretty much every brand has something ok (minus the Koreans).

It's got 4/5 of stuff all to do with what end the drive is at personally I think even the I30 is a better looking car

The Mondeo IMHO is a butt ugly car

I saw the new Mondeo on the road recently, looks very good. Best looking car under 100k... Nup !

That dash is hideous

You have to see it in the flesh, I've seen a base model hatch and I reckon the Falcon looks better,

The Mondeo is one of those cars which look quite bloated and the wheels look tiny.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder , so there is no point even starting the discussion on "good looking" cars . Some believe AU is good looking car and some think it is hideous ...
New Mondeo falls into that love it or hate it category .

Yeah I was in China in Dec and there were quite a few of them around and it looked brilliant. And that's saying something because there's a lot of very nice cars on Chinese roads (saw my first McLaren P1 on the road). It didn't look out of place parked next to a 760 and S600.

No. Way.
Dash is awful, so at least the Euro Fords are being consistent. That corporate mouth has blighted both the Fiesta and FG X, which looked better beforehand. Wagon side and rear proportions are good however.

Under 100K?

86/BRZ
Audi A4, esp wagon
XF Jag, XE Jag
Mazda 6
Even the clean lines of the Golf 7
Passat if you want large FWD
Mustang
Even VF, much nicer interior too
Honda Oddysey
Suby Levorg
Mercedes C Class

all nicer.

The previous gen looked really nice, but yeah, poxy engines for such a car.

Nothing will beat the Mustang for looks and performance. God if the 5.0 is $60k then id imagine if we ever get a chance at the GT350 then even that might make it under $100k?
