Works OK with me. Are you clicking on the "Search this forum" tab at the top of the SZ section index, located on the right hand side? Then click the cursor into the box when the curser then starts flashing, then type the word or words.

Dunno the root of the issue, but on my android phone using google chrome it does the same thing, but it does work if you hold it and open in a new tab.

I was able to do by search this forum>blank box comes up but cannot type in it>click on "Go" next to it>larger search screen appears>type in search word in "Keyword(s)>lower down click on "search now" button. Works for me, although this is the first time I have done it on my Android phone as I always use a PC. Good luck. Jeff

I think it's something to do with the mobile site. Works fine if you go to advanced search but like the op, if you try to type in the search box as is, it disappears.

Works fine on desktop.

Been that way for a while.
