Today, I have posted twice, the link to change Facebook back to the "old" Facebook, from Timeline. And its vanished ??? Why ?
Its not offensive etc??? and as far as I know I posted in the right section.?? Cheers

I've been getting that request on Facebook and I'm questioning how legit this app really is.
The two people who sent a timeline remover app request to my profile said how happy they were for supposedly finding a way to remove timeline, but when I go onto their profile, they still have the timeline format. Therefore I did not install the app, plus if I didn't like timeline I wouldn't have got it in the first place. |

They have been removed as the timeline removal app is a Facebook virus.

Yep, this is a message I had on faecesbook.
"Do NOT click on the app remove timeline!! It is a virus n has wiped a friend of a friends computer totally !!! Please share as I have done!!!"

I was suspecting it was just a malware link since it was not an official Facebook application. The one I was getting requests for has just disappeared, probably deleted by Facebook itself.

Nothing that is a Facebook app will change the way Facebook looks or acts, if Facebook wanted to give an option, they would have implemented a button..
Unfortunately they didn't.

Timeline Remove is an extension for Google Chrome that removes Timeline view on Facebook and restores the classic look.
Not everyone's a huge fan of the changes Facebook has introduced recently. Timeline is one of the latest alterations made to Facebook's user interface. It transforms all of your posts into an organized chronology based on the year posted. It also allows you to choose a large background picture to display at the top of your profile page and behind your profile picture. I can appreciate you wanting to assist AFF members, who are on facebook, and who want to convert back to the Old Facebook format, however, the link you posted has been proven to be malware.
