Not tomorrow but next week I should be able to make it. Always enjoy going to WSID even as a spectator.

Was a great night out, the smell of fuel & rubber perfumed the air. Meet up with Dave(SgtBourne) a fantastic mate to be with. Spoke to Stav, he was very keen but dont know what he ran. I ran a 13.5 with only three runs unfortunatly. A block with a ute ran a 10 sec. but a problem with braking ended him up in the sand pits which delayed our runs, infact it was the car infront of mine. making me pose for everyone during the waiting period, how embaracing. Cant wait for the next meet...

Guys, school holidays are back, meaning no work for me, well at least not on Wednesday nights. So I'll be heading down WSID on the 1st and the 8th of October. If anyone else is keen it will be great to meet up there.

Mate, come on down. Once you taste that 1/4 mile you'll be addicted and then start embarrassing others by kicking butts. :thebirds:

I went to WSID on the 17th Sept. It was my first ever run on a drag strip. It looks easy from the grandstand but I was surprised how much happens so quickly. It was a real buzz. I had 4 runs and the best was the first, at 12.392@195.96K/mh - 60ft 2.272. (No burnout and just floored it on the green light). The rest of the runs just got slower and slower. Dont know what I was doing wrong?? I hope to be there again this Wednesday, 1st Oct.

Guys, I dont know how it works, but we can tomorrow enter the same lane for racing, I think it was (lane 5). It would be great and we would be able to stick together. Does anyone know how its done? Also hope the weather goes fine tomorrow.

yep great night, bloody hot at the start and lots of rice there as well(which doesn't help much).

congrats to matt taking the fasted club members car title with a 12.6.

frank had some mystery problems with the f6 and was in the high 13's all night.

hakan did a best of 13.3

paul monteleone did a 14.3 out of a bog stock 3v xt falcon! :

and with axle tramp and missed gears (don't ask : ) i managed to get a 13.8.

there was some tough fords out there and for a change, some really staunch dunnydore's turned to race as well.

we are looking at booking a lane next year when racing resumes, it would be great to get more members out on wedensday nights.

Went out tonight hoping to see you guys, well you gave a good choice for not comming, I arrived at 5.20 pm and it took me an hour to go through the inspection lane and had my first run at 7.30 pm by the end of the night I had only done 3 runs. I have never seen it so packed before. My best PB for the night was 13.4 @ 109 m/hr. Ill be heading down next week but this time much earlier.
