Nice! looking good! It's almost like the Clio's, only about 2cm longer.

Much cleaner then the Fiesta's

So, your wrong.

On both the WP & WQ model Zetecs, the Silver surround was NOT standard.

The 'silver' your seeing in that photo, is actually glare from the sun/camera flash.

You seriously think that's glare from camera flash?

Looks loads better than a standard one. Pity you can't do much about the front ones apart from the stupidly expensive Focus wiper blades. Might look into a back one, either Kia or Holden/Diewoo if I can bare crossing that threshold.

Oh and just a few more...

Brand new WQ Zetec interior, from a QLD Dealership - LINK

Brand new WQ Zetec interior, from a VIC Dealership - LINK

And I could go on. Its safe to say, WQ Zetec manual's have the ring thingy around the manual shifter surround.

So, teki, you're the one who's wrong.

Can I suggest getting the leather gear knob Steffo, it looks & feels a whole lot nicer than the standard one. Is that a Tango Zetec? Must give mine a good clean inside & out.

I like the look & feel of the stock gear knob. Only annoying thing is the silver thingy in my car keeps coming off. That will be fixed shortly... with some VERY strong glue. :hihi:

Same happened to mine so I got the leather one, it'sshaped to fit your hand , much like the steeringwheel.
& due to Teki's silence on the subject I think he realises he was misinformed.

That's awesome mate, have you thought about replacing the blue Ford badges with orange ones to match the colour of the car?

you also saw new colors for the Fez. yet there not in the Line up for the fez says ford. so who's wrong or right?........

i think ford has been a bit Iffy with this item....they where shown in the WP model when it first came out. but was the Overseas model shown apparently...but i dont seem to see any in the WQ's.....so yer its a bit weird..

Yer sway.....i agree, badges like the ones we have are great......they make the car look unique and yours stands out.....so cool....

I'd like the Ghia steering wheel. Don't know how much or if I need a new airbag or keep mine.

I like the little bit of polished alloy on the Ghia wheel, & either a Ghia or ST handbrake. Might try & spray the door handles & door pulls silver.

Made some changes to the door trim how-to guide. Cleaned it up a little, reworked some of the text and changed the layout abit.

ST steering wheel is very nice, but as you probably know Oxy it's pretty expensive, love the chrome section to it, very sweet.

priced from Ford Parts UK

Yeah its been on fordpartsuk for awhile.

The one I was watching on ebay was from one of the rally cars m-sport striped ages and ages ago. They would strip the whole interior and sell it on ebay. Most of the UKFN guys got the seats etc. Most of them sold for like £500 or so for a whole interior.

The wheel went for about £100 or something.

Dont mind my thread mining :P

Since the XR4 is going to be here soon and my ST rims will no longer individual. I went for a short squirt down the highway to old Melbourne town last week. Droped em off at Advanced Alloy Wheels Repairs and had some repairs and painting done. Week later and minus a whole wod of cash I picked em up. They are painted a metallic dark grey.

Some quick pics.

I'm also working on making a bracket that uses the euro number plate mounting points on the car. My dealer just drilled into the body work on my zetec. I'll be using em for when my XR4 turns up. Post up pics of em soon.

By the way they are painted and not powder coated like the focus rims and they have a much better quailty finish.

I can imagine powder coating would look somewhat dull and would most likely scratch easily.
