Default Fez Rolling On 17's

Howdy Ppls,

I am now the lucky owner of 17inch Ford Focus MP3 rims.

I absolutley love em, and they look huge compared to the 15 inch Zetec rims.

These are just a couple quick shot of how they look. Unfortunatley they wont be on the car for at least 2 months as no money for tyres :
The Dunlop Le Man 702's look pretty good.

I might concider lowering it maybe 1 inch as some ppls think it will look like a 4wd. But who cares??

Let me know your thoughts??

That looks nice, one thing I suggest is that you lower the fez now. I don't know if it's the angle but it looks a little to high. Might be the pic.
Other than that is looking good.

Cheers

Howdy PPLS

Thanks for the comments.

Pieoter - Yes they are Tims old Rims

xurbanx - The tyres are 215/45 which cam with the rims, but when isd ave some monies ill get some new 215/35 profile.

Teki, Josh, professorsabre - Yes i totally agree it looks a bit too high , but mind you i only had one side with the 17s the other with 15 so the car is slightly lob sided. Also the angle wasnt right. I will definitly concider lowering but not anytime soon. But hey im not worried that it looks like it can go off road.

Teki - Those tyres are all urs i have no intention of buying them.

Josh - Thanks for the quick photochop, it will definitley look sick lowered

You absolutely. positively must dump that baby. I've got the sixteens and I'm still deciding if the sportsriders are going to be low enough or if i have to go the fully adjustable Koni's. Can't think of anything worse than not getting it low enough the first time.

I wont have the rims on the car for some time as i need new tyres, so sorry to say mitch but the bet still stands and i dont think i will have any trouble trying to catch u. We will find out soon enough, who is the supreme machine. : :evil_laug

Anyways thats for the good feedback.

Cheers

Um, Auto vs Manual.... pretty sure who will win!

Or do stickers make the car go faster?

I was there when these rims were test fitted, and all I can say is that they look just absolutely massive on the car. It also looked lower in the flesh, those photos don't do it justice. But can't wait to see them on the vehicle permanently!

They tyres i will be buying are Nankang NS-2 - 215/40R17 for a very very good price.

Cheers to everyone with the feedback on tyres as i am a newbie with all this.

Whats the legal limit in NSW for wheels and tyre's. Putting 215/40/R17 is gunna put ur speedo way out of whack by about 4k's. Here in Vic the diameter cant be more then 15mm with 215/40 its like 30mm more then the std 195/50.
