Default Error 2

After viewing threads and clicking on the BACK arrow, how come it now takes me ages to get back to the main AFF page?? Sometimes I have to click on the CLOSE "X" to get anywhere and then get back on to the site again.

I've noticed that myself, have to press the back button 5 or more times just to get back. Only does it on ford forums

Ive found I have to push the back buttons the same amount of times as the number of threads I veiwed in that sub forum. For example, if I read 4 threads in AUfalcon.com, I have to back button 4 times to get back to the main page. Its a bit weird, started happening on Monday I think, and only on AFF.

It is good when you realise it isn't just you eh :
Here I was thinking it was because the poor old computer I have here just didn't cope with so much stuff on the forum.
Yes it is only AFF that has the hassle too for me.

Seems to vary a little, but yeah during the day also. It is worse at night but have noticed the go slows today too...

The alternative is to scroll to the top of the page and click on the header of the forums page

Or, near the bottom of the page click on the "Forum Jump" dropdown menu and select "Forums Home"

A shortcut is to press the arrow next to the back button to skip the extra pages that has popped up.

Ditto... Thought it may of had something to do with the server fault last night.. But this back button issue is still happening.

Default Get back...

Anyone else having trouble with the back arrow on AFF.
I have to wait ages or click on the back arrow a few times for it to get back.
It's only just started happening the last week.
And when it does go back it takes a few seconds to reload the page.

I have had the same, I also find AFF slow in general and sometimes I have to wait a few minutes for a thread to load, I find it worse at night time. I don't have this problem with other sites.

Just logged on and the return arrow doesn't function. Have to use the drop-down arrow to make a return.

Nowhere has anybody denied that there is a problem, so far we have tracked it down to being an incompatibility with a certain browser, and are working on a workaround to solve the problem.

The problem with this is that it's not consistent, making it quite hard to nail down a fix.

As DK has pointed out though, we are very much aware of it and actively looking for a fix.
