Might head out on this one, should have the bonnet on in black primer at this stage for anyone that wants a closer look at it all.

Forgive my lack of yarra bend knowledge, but is it possible for someone to post up a map of yarra bend and point out where the meeting point is. The roads around there go in every which way and cross the highway a few times.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks

Can anyone help???

If I turn from Chandler Hwy onto Yarra Blvd, where do i go from there? Is there an actual turn off for the meeting area or is it just on the side of the road?

I will be meeting up with TUF260 before hand then will be trying to find where the group is.

Cheers,

Travis

Awesome, thanks heaps for that.

Will catch you guys tomorrow then.

Apologies for having to ask. It sorta looks really easy, but wasn't too sure. Don't know the area very well as you can tell.

Cheers

Glad you did, the road named goes right around that park, straight down Eastern and turn off Chandler Hwy, too easy

How did the cruise go, well no doubt.

Sorry I pulled out but after a Swan Hill run yesterday I was tired when I got back, even though I still spent a couple of hours att eh shop I didn't finish. I actually just gopt back from the shop about 20 mins ago after going again today to work on the bloody bonnet, almost there, just been trying to do it in between other work at the moment.

Post some pics.

What a Cruise, What a Drive - Simply ORSM

Thanks to Theo for and Ron for keeping me in a the loop to what road you were taking to Lilydale, alot of impressed Spectators watched us travel around.

Don't know how to write what I felt inside when we passed through the first town that was devastated by the fires, so many driveways with no houses at the end of them, so many cleared blocks with nothing, just EVERYTHING was bunt and gone.

Its weird looking through the bush and just seeing sticks (trees) - I have seen the images but to see it yourself makes you realize how bad it was.

Noticed alot of the road side barriers were bent from fallen trees and Imagined if you were in your car trying to get out you couldn't as the road would be blocked.

Alot of water tanks being the only thing left on some blocks but on the positive side it looks like all the areas are cleared and ready for new houses to be rebuilt - a lot of new houses had already been completed

Great Pics Ben (DIFFWA) - THANKS

It was a great day, some very nice cars. It's a good possibility I'll be joining up.
Sorry if I was backing off a bit on the twisty sections. Was still keeping up well, but the missus was getting a bit woozy and didn't want vomit on all the leather!!lol.

I'm soooo dissapointed that I couldn't come. I've been on-call all week and 1 of our systems was scheduled for an outage on sunday so I had to cancel expecting alot of calls for work. (In the end I only received 1) :(

Sounds like you all had a great time. In fact my parents went up that way yesturday as well and saw some ferrari and subaru clubs up there too.

Russell and I had a great time - thanks guys! We will bring my car next time - new wheels and tyres are on and just has to go to Bluepower for the last little mod : .

Here are some photos I took on my phone before we set off. Also one of my new wheels for those that asked what I chose.

Regards
Gaela
