No, I didn't. When I saw the post about 4 pm, I went to the website to see if there was any fanfare. I expected the Ford website to have something like a count down timer and link to the reveal.

I'm shopping for baby stuff at the moment and a site sent me a link to an exciting announcement about a new product with a count down timer to the launch.

So by all means, have a teaser video... Just let people know you have something in the pipeline!

Except the car industry has this fear that if they release info too early it can kill the sales of the current model...I'm not of that belief as I think you could also stop a move to an opposition product just as easily....I remember those days of baby stuff shopping...Baby Bunting is a name I long forgot...one good thing about baby product shopping, it led to moving from a Mondeo sedan to BA Futura wagon, to FG G6ET to several Territory's...

tnck, tnck, tnck...What's that Skip, you saw the new Ranger drive past, and it has what.....a v6 sound....could you tell if it was petrol or diesel Skip....?

It's like the difference between being infamous and famous, same results just very different context.

We're talking about the ad because it was one of the worst Falcon ads we've seen, we all know about it but if you asked anyone else outside of our community they'd likely have no idea what we're referring to.
