swoop its a very quick track , so practice is not a biggy , but it helps

The Cranny Crew will leave Bunnings Cranbourne at 10.45 to get there so we have roughly an hour to bolt through the traffic :

Rubbin is Racin !

Just read in the paper that yes it was at auskarts in Port Melbourne and the track is now closed pending a full investigation by Victoria Police and Worksafe. Any chance we can still book another venue, Ace karts in Sunshine maybe? What else is around because I doubt the place will be open in two weeks.

Well it kind of has to be on the same weekend for me to be able to make it, and as i've said there is Ace karts and Fun City both in Sunshine. Phillip island isn't really that far from Cranbourne so it is still a possibility and would make for a nice cruise.

Ok so I just had a look at the yellow pages and I don't think we'll have a problem finding another venue for the same date. There is Le Mans Grand Prix in Keysborough, GOKartsport racing in Moorabin, Silhouette Karts in somerton and a fair few others in there too. Any one reccomend any of these?

i have a membership at Ace Karts in Sunshine. It is an outdoor track, but they do race under lights as long as its not raining. Its a fairly big track, and the Karts are quite fast. I would reccomend them if we are going to stick to Karts.

Ok here we go, GoKart sport racing is 9555 4111 and they say they specialise in group bookings, Le Mans is 9795 5553, Fun City is 9317 8222 and Silhouette is 9308 6644 and they claim to have Melbourne's fastest karts so my vote is for them if possible. Would be real good if we can get it for at least the same weekend.

P.S GO FORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
