Well, after seeing how many AU’s are on the list I thought it might be a good idea to have a bit of a “Show and Shine” of AU’s on the day too. I figured that everyone would be shining their cars up anyhow.
I contacted DOC from THEMBOYS and gave him a bit of a rundown of what was happening and why. He loved the idea and, in typical DOC form, offered to provide a prize for the winner. I can say now that the gear from THEMBOYS is top quality and DOC will no doubt put together something that is absolutely fantastic for us.
Thanks DOC.

So, who will judge it? Well, I see Russ has his name on the list so, unless DOC can come along, I think Russ is the perfect man to judge this little show and shine competition for us (he just doesn’t know it yet : )

Anyhow, this is going to be a fantastic day and with sponsors like THEMBOYS behind us its only going to get better.

Oh..and this wont be the last surprise for the BBQ day either… this is one event you don’t want to miss.

sounds like a great idea, ill second that, i have been to a few E-series meets with a mate but this will be my first AU meet so yeah... go the tags

I don't think I'll make FPV day but this could be fun to make as I mentioned to Buckie before. Nothing like a Big pack of AU's invading a city lol........
Will keep an eye on this and when things get closer will confirm.

More news.. this BBQ is getting bigger and better.
Thanks to Stiddy and his contacts he has arranged 2 of the newly created AU Tascco Race cars to be there for the BBQ day and show and shine purely for our pleasure. We will have the opportunity to inspect every cm of these cars and generally see how they are constructed.
No longer just a little get together, this is now looking like it will be the premier AU event of the year. With families coming from interstate this has all the makings of the largest gathering of AU’s outside of the All Ford Day and FPV day.

wish i lived in Melb.. :(

it'll be too hard for me to get time of work, and with uni as well. plus deciding which AU to take :hihi: so im gonna have to give this one a miss. :(

hopefully there is one in sydney though, in the future.
