Default EOI: New Years Eve Party XRchic & Cobra's House

Hey

We are contemplating having a big New Years Eve bash at our place on, yes, you guessed it, 31st December!

We usually find that we end up doing nothing because everyone else is going somewhere else with someone else because we left it too late to organise something.

Anyway, we thought we would see if anyone from the forums is interested in coming along, especially from interstate. And we thought we could perhaps get in early before people have plans or whatever.

This is just an idea at this stage, but we are thinking of perhaps (depending on numbers) having a New Years Eve cruise during the day through the hills somewhere (especially if anyone comes from interstate) and then everyone coming back to our place (in the hills) for the party after.

We were thinking just a massive big BBQ with loads of meat, munchies, beer etc, etc, etc.... We have a pretty big back yard with room for a lot of people and whoever would like to bring a sleeping bag and crash in our rather large rumpus room is welcome to. Otherwise there is a really nice cabin village about 5 minutes from us in Mt Barker, if anyone wants to stay there overnight.

Would just be a matter of bringing a bit of meat for the BBQ (we will do snags and chops etc, just bring more if you want something extravagant), your own drinks/grog and a chair.

Anyways, if anyone would like to come, or would like to consider it, stick your name on a list. Kids are welcome by the way. My kids will be there and I wont be drinking.

Cheers

Jac and Eamon
