Default Best pad choice for use with XC Falcon slotted rotors

I have purchased a set of rotors for my '79 XC Falcon.

They are:
RDA107D
RDA103D
Both types are slotted an dimpled.

My car is a weekender that will occasionally be used on track days.

I purchased a set of Bendix Ultimate pads for the front and a set of GCT pads for the rear.

I have heard that the slotted and dimpled rotors may cause the GCT pads to crack.

I will of course inspect the pads and rotors before and after any track use but I'm wondering if I did not choose the best pads.

Can you recommend a different pad for my application?

I stuck to the Ultimates.
I'd read that some pads designed for smooth rotors leave a resin sort of residue at the slots and can cause a shudder. Be good to know if that's correct.

Thanks Greg.

I'm thinking I will get a set of Ultimates for the rear. I only got the GCT ones because I figured it was wasteful to put Ultimates on the rear.

Be nice to get input from Bendix. I've fitted the ultimates on slotted a few times and they work nice.

No they wont crack, unless subjected to excessive, long term temperatures for an extended period of time, this would occur to any brake pad. However, if its only used on weekends and track days we would recommend Bendix Ultimate for front and rear.
