Are you kidding..thats a huge improvement, I think it looks good. But maybe not S class good, but close. Why would you go past the 5 series anyway.....

Better than the original. Don't mind it at all..

They certainly do turn heads on the street. People might be poo-pooing BMW's new design language but it certainly works. Number 1 sales in Germany last year means they're winning the battle against Benz..

i certainly wouldnt mind one, i think they look real nice, they have there own original look, which i like. but alot of people dont seem to like originality in cars.

Looks alright, never did have any issues with the way they looked anyway.

Im pretty sure that if any one of us was offered one for free, we would gladly accept. Then id sell it, and buy a house and land.

People shyte on Chris Bangle one hell of a lot. But BMW have come along way from "What size 3 series would you like?" days of olde. Thumbsup for being different and looking great while they do it. I'd rather that than the somewhat recycled look of all the new mercs...

looks are a personal opinion. I think it is great that BMW have taken the risk and gone for different. I for one am not in for this "tackiness", espcially from a luxury brand. IMO when I think of BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, etc I think class and sophistication not different like the 7 series. IMO the car doesn't reflect the price tag. Goodluck to them and it seems to show they must be doing something right.

But MB still beats them overall worldwide I think.

This is definitely an improvement, especially the bigger V8.

An improvement, which it needed, otherwise it would have been left alone! Still, how can one argue with the beauty and style of the A8?

4.8litre 360hp 360lb/ft (269kW 488Nm) V8.

A BMW engine with torque! I thought I'd never see it happen.....
