Default $10,000 Budget - What would you buy?

Hey Guys,
$10,000 Budget - What would you buy?
Rules:
1) Must be only 1 vehicle.
2) Must be currently advertised (online preferably) and post link in reply.
3) Must explain choice as to why you chose vehicle.

Thats it... Have a go... Its easy!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's mine:
http://www.fordmusclecars.com.au/vie...sp?ItemID=4513

$7,900
1973 ZF Ford Fairlane
Factory K Code 351, 9 Inch, Sunroof, Low Miles, Matching Numbers.

I chose this because its a simple car, big enough for my family (i've got 3 kids) to go cruising in... Its a 351 K car, its got a factory sunroof... low miles... and with a little TLC, and a tweak here and there and (and perhaps some rims and redwalls) this could be a cool classic cruiser...

This was such a tough choice, i eventually made a shortlist consisting of a LTD, a couple of EF and BA Falcons a Laser and a Mustang...however i decided to go with

http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...01252&__Nne=15

I could have chosen any of the vehicles in my shortlist and to be honest it would take a real lot of time so i went with it because i'd love a top line sports car for a low price. However my BA cost about 10k and i'd probably get one of those again, because i prefer a blank canvas.

Id buy this:
http://wyoming.craigslist.org/cto/1530300426.html
get it shipped (about $4k) then spend the rest on gettin a donor truck to convert to RHD
The reason would be because Its such a nice classic old truck!

Not sure if that link will work but I've chosen an EL XR8 5spd manual, 199xxxkms, blue with red stripe and 18in BA alloys (looks very clean) $7800, spend the other couple grand on brakes and suspension upgrades

This:

http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...t=e30&trecs=60

this,

http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...t=e30&trecs=60

or this...

http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...=60&__Qpb=true

couldnt really decide as all have good points. so a combinationof all 3... ideally 2.5ltr 6cyl with 5spd manual in any of the above cars and i would be a happy camper

Mitsubishi Magna VRX - 2001 model; 153,000km; 3.5L manual with 163kw/320nm and circa weight of 1380kg - With change left over (asking price $8,500).

Only problem is MMAL already got most of the potential out of this FWD setup - I guess you could put ralliart heads in or supercharge (sprintex used to offer a kit that delivered 220kw) but whats the point - it is what it is - an honest fleet car.

A modern classic and by this stage all of the bits that normally fall off should’ve already fallen off.

Id use it to put a deposit down on something like this,

http://www.uniquecarsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!unique_content.enquiry?current_rec=5&page_number= 1&vehicle_id=6131643&total_rec=6&sort_type=1&ucate gory_id=1&make_id=6&model_id=10&keywords=xe

Everything i picked was alot more than 10g lol!

Stupid link didn't work, i chose a XE ESP Fairmont Ghia, 5.8ltr, FMX with 4500rpm Stallconverter and all the other goodies, Silver over black with 19inch GT rims, looks beautiful! :

i would buy an EL XR6, give it full quality extractors, heavy duty suspension , bigger brakes, fully tune the ECU , do the air intake, a better CAM, give it a nice and rare numbered final diff drive say 3.73:1 and nice 35" tint.

This car will beat any car well in to $40000 and with this set up a stock VE SS would cry.

I dont know. there doesnt seem to be anything wrong, but asking for 45k was a little steep considering he has modified it. If it were full original and stock with something like 10,000km then maybe, but not while its been modified.
