Default EB GT Brake Light

Hi All
Can any body tell me where I can purchase a replacement LED light that is in the rear spoiler of my EB GT. I believe you have to buy the whole light assembly, that is, you cannot just replace the bulb.
Cheers
G.K.

I think most spoiler lights are sealed units, thus replace the lot or prize it open, solder new leds in and reseal the unit (not recommended or easy).

Try an aftermarket spoiler company, they might have a fit that is cheaper.

I bought a replica eb gt kit & they are identical to
the originall- u can buy the led from most bodykit
suppliers on telling them its a eb gt led insert. :

have been told that it isnt hard to change the LED's but you do have to break the casing open and it can go badley if not done right. since a lot of mine are out i might just give it a bash, might just have to go without spoiler light for a bit if i break it.

It isnt hard at all ;) ive done it to a few spoilers. Aslong as you have a decent soildering iron and some patience you can do it.

the red LEDS are like $1 max each from Dicksmith

If you can separate a EB taillight, you can separate a LED brake casing :P :

The whole gt led insert can be bought for around $45- $70 it is
a lot easier to just replace it, i had a stock type boot spoiler
once & it was very rusted internally the (led ) tried to fix it
a *** of a job-gave up.

Jaycar LED's are cheaper than DSE.

Its an easy job, getting the unit open is the hard bit.
