Default Glenn Innes Weekend

An excellent well organised cruise. Even getting up so early and getting rained on (only northsiders might have to move to the south). A lot more cars than last year was great to see. Very well organised. Food was great at the RSL and we had a great time. Good to see the XR club cleaned up once again. Every one else still out cleaning their cars? Thought someone would have been on by now. Or they could be sleeping off a heavy night and some early mornings. Have you stopped glowing Don? Fords rule yet again.
Can't wait for next year bigger and better again I'm sure.
Catch you all on Sunday.

Yes, it was a great cruise. Thank you to all who came and it was a bigger crowd than last year. Congradulations to all of of you for making it a great weekend. Yes we did clean them up with the trophies and the best display. Well Done. I loved the street parade.
Congradulatons to Kerrie, Nick, Paul and all from Glen Innes for a wonderful Ford v's Holden Show. They did a lot of hard work that was for sure and made us feel so welcome. And next year we'll cerrtainly be back for more.
See you all sunday.

Well what a great weekend , we had a absolute ball :1syellow1 :1syellow1
Great to meet up with everyone again but under better weather than last time( except this time the chill factor of the great nsw weather). What a great turn-up of our so called club that is supposed to be in tatters. Last count that I made was 25 gleaming FORDS travelling from the great state of Qld. There was no other groups there from locally that could match our numbers. Again Congradulations to all winners on the day and to all that showed up to support the club. Hope to see you all soon .
Thanks Patrick & Lee

ps. GO THE SIXES

G'day All,

All of the above. The best thing about the show was how it has grown from last years first up effort. All the lessons learnt from last year by Kerry and her crew were not only addressed but improved on ten fold (not that last year was bad, it was great). I would think that before too much longer this will be a must do show for anybody with a Ford or Holden.

Kerry is going to send me the results of all who won and I will post them as soon as I get them.

Cheers,

Ken

PS: I hope you have all washed your cars after the trip home.

On behalf of the Glen Innes community we cant thank you enough for coming and making our parade and show something else. All the locals here have commented on the XR Club display and the awsome cars. Country people dont often have the opportunity to see these class of cars. Not only is the community impressed, but as the organisers of the car show we are extatic, and again thanx for you support and look forward to next year. I am so proud to be a member of such a friendly, well orgainized and happy big family of XR's. Results will be sent to Ken very soon.
