Default Fuel Doctor

Someone on another forum I am on is pushing this stuff http://fueldoctors.com.au/

I am skeptical anyway but does anyone know if this company is related to the Fuel Doctor that was pushing this scam product:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjsdXvZz6IM

https://www.caranddriver.com/news/fu...nt-work-at-all

and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKP3W42wxD0

Shades of Peter Brock's Polariser.

The logo and print looks very similar but it seems like they probably are unrelated entities.

Hmm this suggests the additive is a Castrol pruduct; if it is it should be OK https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Castrol-....c100011.m1850
Ditto: https://www.sctruckspares.com.au/cc5...doctor-5l.html

But why is some sold without the Castrol label?

OK this explains it http://fueldoctors.com.au/product/

Quote:
A joint branding distribution agreement with Castrol in 2000 included a stringent and successful product testing regime instigated by Castrol’s new owners BP.

2002 saw SuperCheap Auto roll out the new 275 ml automotive bottle, allowing all motorists access to an industrial strength product developed by a committed industry leader, in a proprietary designed enviro-user friendly multi-use dispenser.

I use fuel doctor additive, I usually add it every 3 months. Never had a problem running it in my Bt50 08 model.

I am starting to think the scam gizzmo was trying to ride on the coattails of the additive product by using the same name and colours and similar print and logo etc.

Instead of this crap if you are really concerned about your fuel just pay the full pump price for premium 98RON.

Its already got all the additives and octane boosters etc in it!!!

Personally i like to run E10 (Cheapest) or maybe sometimes proper 95RON fuel cos they're cheaper than 98 and i only go cruising/thrashing on weekends anyways!!!

I do use 98 RON and wasn't really intending using it; I was just curious about it and especially interested if it was from the same company as the electronic device.
