I love these beastie looking things. They really are fabulous creations.

At 19, my best mate bought a John Goss special (I think it was called that)

2 weeks later wrapped it around a tree.

Yea I would say the burgandy interior would be quite rare now. Notice front kick panels are differant because I didnt have the guts to hack up the original burgandy ones to put speakers in. So I just threw in some brown ones...lol

Cheers,

Brendon

Reminds me so much of the 70's. Don't re-do the interior. Be worth more left as is and it looks fantastic.

Hi mate,

Yes it has belts in the front but none in the back. We never had coupes made in NZ. We had sedans wagons and ute assembled in nz ( hence NZ new ) but coupes and all GTs were built in aussie and exported ( export pack I think ) and thats what my white fairmont is. It was sold new in NZ by MS Ford in Nelson, December 1972.

Cheers,

Brendon

just wanted to mention that this thread is identical to one already in existence in the show'n'shine forum.. I realise this coupe forum is a new entity however, so not sure if the threads should be merged or not ?

Original thread here, identical title!

Err...no.

Being coupe owners we are well aware of that thread, you may have noticed this area is specific to XA,B,C and Landau Coupe owners.
The thread you pointed out is for any coupe.

Clubs have many varied threads with pics/info that are posted in separate areas, it's up to the individual club Mods to decide what content they will allow under the T&C, (Excluding for sale items).

all the cars posted so far are absolutely sensational, so I have to lower the tone of the thread and post some of mine :hihi:
theres also a pic of me for some added pain, and a pic of what the previous owner did with it.. (still have that bonnet too ;) )

I should add that as it was in that last pic, it had a 460BB in it. I bought it minus all running gear.
