Default '92 TX5 V6 A/C blowing hot even when off...

My first post and this seemed to be the place to post it (please advise if there is a more appropriate place to post this

My wife's 92 TX5 V6 is getting a bit long in the tooth and its latest mishap is the aircon blows only hot, even when it is switched off or on full cool! I suspect there are linkages behind the slide knobs etc, which might be stuck. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong here? At the moment its winter, but it still gets too hot. At the least, I would like to remove the fuse for the aircon which hopefully will stop the heat blowing in, but I would like to fix the issue.

I am hanging on to this car until PM Gillard's rebate ($2000) comes in on Jan 1 next year, then off she goes.

Default No replies? Is this the right area to post this request?

No responses yet. Would anyone be kind enough to help me out here - perhaps I should post this enquiry in another area of the forum? Help...
