My friend's mum was the little girl on the swing in the ad for Aeroplane Jelly. I remember seeing it a few times ages ago, but don't remember it too well.

In 1937 five-year-old Joy King recorded I Like Aeroplane Jelly -

I like Aeroplane Jelly, Aeroplane Jelly for me

I like it for dinner, I like it for tea

A little each day is a good recipe

The quality's high as the name will imply

And it's made from pure fruit, one more good reason why

I like Aeroplane jelly, Aeroplane Jelly for me.....ba-boom!

Met and had a chat to Craig Lowndes/ Marcos Ambrose/ John Bowe back at Eastern Creek in 2003.

Got Gillian Andersons autograph in the early 90's ( was a big X-Files fan).

Walked along the beach at North Narabeen in 1993 with Pamela Anderson (seriously!), but she did have about 100 other people doing the same thing...

And speaking of parents, my dad is on a first name basis with Peter Brock. He's also pulled LP over heaps of times, once for driving without a licence.

Well, I have met Jimmy Barnes, Ian Moss, Don Walker, Phil Small and Steve Prestwich, otherwise known as Cold Chisel. hung out backstage with them for a couple of hours at their Brisbane "Ringside" show. Was the greatest single moment of my life.

I've met a few through work, this list is in the last 10 years.
Tina Arena - Really is tiny. Nice but very "showbiz" like. A stunner!!
David Johnston (Ch7 newsreader) - Arrogant turd. A real *****!!
Malcolm Fraser (Ex PM) - Is TALL!! at least 6ft 4in. Was great, very friendly.
Jacinta Stapleton - Had just left Neighbours. Major airhead!!
Molly Meldrum - A few times, friendly and always up for a chat!!
Merv Hughes - Great bloke. Huge, wouldn't want to mess with him.
Conchita Martinez (Ex top womens tennis player) - Very nice and natural. Looked much better in person than on TV. Great smile.
Craig McLaughlin - Funny looking bloke, long body and short legs!! Has a protruding forehead and chin, from the side looks like a half moon!!
Eddie McGuire - Short, nowhere near as fat as I'd imagined.
Rod Marsh - In great shape!! Looked 10 times fitter than his cricket playing days.
Kate Ceberano - Wow!! Stunner!! Nice too, not up herself.
Jeff Kennett - A shortarse!! I always thought he was really tall!! Not a bad bloke.
Gareth Evans (former labour party foreign minister) - A very nasty piece of work, arrogant and loved his power tripping. Got his head up his ****!!
Jeff Fenech - Great guy, very friendly and easy to deal with.
Greg Chappell - Friendly and didn't mind a chat.

There are more but can't think of them at the moment.

I met ROVE! I moved house for him (including packing) when i was a jockey/removilist with Allied Pickfords.. He wasn't very funny, and he didn't offer us drinks or coffee at any stage.

The name of the street he moved into was funny though. :hihi:

oh and i met belinda ? too. she was nice.

Various Racing Car drivers:- Allan Moffatt, Dick Johnson, Craig Lowndes, Steve Ellery (gave him a Plant Tour when he visited the Geelong Engine Plant).

Tis all I can think of at the moment.

Not many people to list, Moffat, Brock, Ambrose, Ingall, and the rest of them, Brett Lee (he seemed alright) and a drunk Andy Symonds (pre afro) who I shouted a beer to, seen Graham Johncock (plays for Adelaide Crows) the other week throwing up in the casino toilets, asked if he was ok, didn't click until i walked out, Marc Gene and had my photo taken with Giancarlo Fisichella plus some other minor F1 drivers, thats about it.

A bloke from work went to the UK a few months back and seen a Ferrari with plates T HENRY parked on the side of the road. Being a huge Arsenal fan he waited to see if this was going to be the real deal. Sure enough Mr. Henry walked up to his car and when the bloke asked for an autograph he told him to **** off and drove off!

Got to agree with all the above. As I said I played bodyguard for Tina Arena and she is one honey to see in person, up close. You can't shut Meldrum up once you get him started, but a nice guy Gareth Evans is how he looks. I don't go off too many people on sight, but unfortunately he is one.

Funny thing about my job (repairing servers) is that I'm required to go to some very high profile companies as well as TV and Radio studios on almost a weekly basis. ABC, Ch 7, 9, 10 and SBS in Sydney, Foxtel and virtually all the stations within Foxtel, Aus stereo (which is MMM, 2DayFM) and JJJ.

Met countless 'famous people', but most memorable would be Roy and HG at ABC many years ago when they were norminated for a Logie probably for Club Buggery. I was doing work the morning after at ABC when they came up the lift, greeted by their vexy busty and absolutely gorgeous PA. She was almost in tears, giving them a big hug because they hadn't won.

A few minutes had past, tears were running down her face and they're getting a thorough massage by her boobies, I was standing watching and remarked... 'I didn't win a logie last night either'. They both looked and instinctively pointed at me. She came bouncing over and I got to enjoy a very nice logie losing cuddle.

Ha! That reminded me of a night at the Collector Hotel in Sydney many years ago when The Angels brought out their last album and they wanted to try and crack it back into the industry. Was a decent set but not many people had heard any of their songs as it was all off their unreleased album. I took my gf at the time who was a big Angels and Doc fan and she thought they were great.

20 mins after they finished their set, most people had left and they had another band on stage. Next thing I know, Doc sidles up to the bar, grabs a drink and stands right next to me. We chat away about his set and I turn to my missus and ask... what would you do if Doc was standing right next to me? She doesn't catch on and says how she'd die, all the usual things a woman says... so I turn to Doc and say.. btw, this is probably your biggest fan here and introduce him to my missus. She smiled at him, punched me and Doc just starts laughing.

I'd seen the Angels many times over the years and nearly all of them he was wasted. But he was clean (and holding what appeared to be a lemon squash) and was a real nice guy, standing around talking to us for a good hour.

Met Bob Glidden at the 1998 NHRA Winternationals at Pomona California. Was on my honeymoon and saw a picture of John Force in the LA times saying the drags were on that weekend so I HAD to go. Chatted to him for about 5 minutes and took a few piccys. Nice guy. It turned out that was his last race driving a ford as he lost his motorcraft sponsorship.
Got a picture with Steve Tyler from Aerosmith in Vegas october 03. They were in town playing with KISS and me and a friend were at a bar in Mandalay Bay when he walked in with an entourage of hot chicks. Took time for photos with anyone who asked.
Sat next to two guys from JET on the way back from the states last october. I expected them to be rock star ****ers but they were cool.

I sort of met (got a poster autographed) Allan Moffat. Conceited w@nker I reckon.
Chatted briefly with Glenn Seton at GMC400, asked him about the then rumours of him going to Holden. No way he said.
Went to school with Rhys Muldoon (actor). He was a hoodlum and punk rocker at school. I think he bats for the other team these days too...not that there's anything wrong with that!
Saw Rex Hunt at a servo in Batemans Bay (NSW south coast).
