What one are you going to go to?
I think there only one week apart, but the Cooma one is near full..

The list of fords are
FORD CAPRI
FALCON
FALCON G6E TURBO
FALCON XR6 TURBO
MUSTANG GT500..
14 Holdens so far that will be there, so it looks like it's a V8 supercar grid lol..

Technically nothing, just the fact that 1 car is road registered and the other isn't. We split them to make them a little fairer. It is more the things that a race car can have done to them that road registered cars can't.Race cars are traditionally stripped, lightweight panels, all the things road cars can not do, so may have an advantage in weight alone

ok kool, can you confirm 100% if Mickey Thompson ET Streets are allowed? they are DOT approved in the US but not Australia. we have used them on the road with no issues from Police.

just don't want to get down there then told we can't race because of the tyres or someone has a sooky baby because we are running them. these are ones i mean

The Capri is going to get a tad wobbly as you approach 300!

Hope to christ you ditch those front runners LOL

Aero beyond 280 is rather important, how fast has the Capri been driven?

will look into the M/T SR's, we have plenty of time to find a suitable tyre, i'm pretty sure with the eBoost2 and the tuning side of things, we can get any half decent tyre to hook up.

tex, the car has been around 300km/h a few times at PowerCruise type events, it's extremely settled at that speed. there is a couple Capri's running in the 200mph+ zone at the track, with just the aid of a Pro Stock syle rear spoiler, it's such a good car at around 170mph so smooth going down the 1/4. we will make a judgement call after a few passes, if it get's too dangerous we will just take it easy, we are just doing it for fun, we aren't going out to break any records or anything. we would love to run 300km/h even 200mph/h but if it's too dangerous it's not worth pushing it.

Thats great to read paulie, wasn't sure if you boys had had the Capri up to those lofty heights.

As you know, the difference between 250kmh and 270, and then 290... Or 300 is dramatic. While I've never been up there, (300) I've been north of 250 indicated ny Speedo, and things start to get real interesting real quick, for every extra single kmh it seems!

But hey, you guys are old hands at warp factor 5, so not my place to sound like the concerned citizen lol.

Cant wait to hear how the old girl goes mate, go rip some exotic assessment to shreds!

Ps I'm shocked power cruise events provide opportunity to run up to 300!!!!! Nice.

will be fun to see how it goes, i think we will only be putting in the baby motor for it and not the big hp combo we are currently speccing out.
