Sandi wold number 9 on the list jumps up to number 7 after this weekend. showing she has a big set of brass ones (the car caught fire only a couple weeks ago and Sandi's eyes got burnt) Sandi and the car have been repaired and were back out in fine form, running a 7.49@188 and then a new PB of 7.42@192mph. well done to Sandi, Accufab and all the crew.

Sandi is out at the PSCA Street Car Supernationals in Las Vegas. today is testing day, i think she thinks its bracket racing she has ran a 7.42@192, 7.43@192 and a 7.43@193 so consistent for a small tyred radial car

We should do an Aussie Modular list before you get your car to the track Paulie.... apart from RDP's old 4.6L Turbo race ute Simon and I will be 1 and 2 on the list I think?

Now i've seen under the back of a new edge mustang, I can see why they run 8's and 9's so easy!.... 3000-3400lbs race weight, good live axle underpinnings and enough room for a 12" slick!

have heard from a very good source a 7-sec Modular Mustang is making it's way to Australia soon

the new edge Mustangs are the best for running fast (i have always wanted one) you just need to look at the likes of Bridge Racing they have run into the 7's on factory suspension
you can fit a decent tyre under the back, but, if you look at the tyre alot of these guys run they are 275 radials or a small 29x10.5 slick tyre technology these days is just fantastic, there is no more of this slick is heaps better than a radial.

definitely should put Aussie times up here also, i think alot of people see the times run by these cars and assume they are all out race-cars, i'd be very surprised if more than 50% of the cars on here were, i know alot of these cars are still street driven, maybe not daily but they see weekend duties.

how cool is this, just under 110 Modular powered cars running 8's or quicker and that's only the ones known about, there could be twice even 3 times more than that we don't know about. these are even not all race cars, half maybe more are street cars!

we are starting it up week after next when everyone is back at work, make sure we get oil pressure n bed everything in. i would have started it up last week but i haven't fully familiarised myself with the Motec just yet. sick of helping other people

MMR ran a 6.08@240mph today in the red Mustang, only 5/1000ths of a second slower than Accufab's record. the MMR boy's are looking for that first 5-sec pass from a modular.
