Ok, well my mate who shoots at the Benalla Gun Club seems to think that its closer to 2.5 hours than 2, and if it is raining, we may not be able to do 120+ all the way.

Anyway, do we all want to meet together and cruise up, or just meet you guys up there?

Wouldn't 80% comitted be enough? LOL, just having a joke at the expense of the "80% rule".

How do they measure 80% of a driver's ability anyhow? - that's an interesting one for sure.

They ask if you've ever owned a HOLDEN and if you answer YES then your speed limited to 60km/h as your obviously a **** driver and a hazard to others for owning it in the first place!

Cheers

Well myself and Mark are going to meet up with the X series boys and girls at BP between 5.30am and 5.55am so any club members that wanna hook up we'll meet you there. If its raining up there I may (doubt I wont but may) not put it on the track and just hook up with the crew and have lunch or something and enjoy the drive up. New sway bar went in today so got the feeling it'll be pretty hard to NOT go out and show my cards!: :evil3:
See you there people and look forward to meeting the new dude Eevil8. Dont believe the rumours about me mate......I'm much worse!!!lol Just kidding, but really. :

Cheers

I'm home and oh what fun it was today. Think we might of pushed the rules a little but no black flags or warnings so all good. Think the ute is going to take a few days to settle back to normal after such a hard run but it should be ok. Alen (Eevil8) went for a run with me and snuck some footage on my mobile phone of me following my mate Mark (dub racing). He hides it in his lap every time we go past the marshells but you see a fair bit. At the end I back off for a few laps as the oil temp was getting up there and I also didn't want to force Mark into an off as he was pushing pretty hard to stay in front and looked to be getting a little loose. 2 corners later at advanced petroleum corner he did just that anyway. oops!!! No major damage but still. Any way here you go.

Well lucky Mark was only allowed to drive at 80% or no-one there would have kept with him LOL.

80% hahahahaahahahahaha...hahahahahahahahaha.ha! We didn't drive at a tiny 80%!!! It was like bourke street out there and we broke every rule they had I think!!! Mark had that thing runnin at 110% and I was at about 100% as the big heavy BOSS needs to be realed in to make a corner without hitting any one IF/WHEN it understeers on exit. He here with me now and nodding his head with a big grin on his face. His off wast that bad but I tell you from behind it looked pretty full on!! Damb expensive lawn mower if you ask me!!

Cheers

i got there at 2.30,

spotted ORSM AU and Glenns Ute parked in the paddock, half an hour later they left!!! so i was out there by myself and drove around the back of the track an took some pics from different angles. im uploading them to photobucket now.

as i was out and about takeing pics. some guy in a commodore (his mates commodore) throttle jammed an ploughed into the wall. i helped him out and got his car moving off the wall. then the rain came. and made it fun for the tow truck haha

was fun i left at 4.45 coz they called it off after the accident. some nice cars on the track.

Cheerz,
