Howdy,
I am makeing every one aware of the meeting wich will take place of the 9th of march at the settlers inn at port mac. I would like EVERY member to attend this meeting with alot of matters to be finalised and debated. Any member who wishes to attend can do so and any members who wish to come and have a look can also come tho non members will not be able to vote on the day. Any questions can be rasied and directed to gordon (thunderoo) at any time. Please post here for confirmation of attendance. cheers brian

Just one other thing....if you are unable to attend please contact a committee member and place a PROXY vote as we need all the votes we can get....A name change is a pretty big thing for the club and we need to know where each everyone of our members stand on this issue. We can not stress enough how important your vote will be for the club...cheers Julie

Howdy all, I had hoped to go to the meeting on Sunday but unfortunately, I can't make it. I didn't get time to get in a Proxy vote and I'm not sure how I'd vote anyway. Our club is great as it is but I can understand why some would want to include GTs in the name. It doesn't worry me either way, as long as it doesn't change the atmosphere of our club and as long as it doesn't make the membership fees too high - or would the GT owners pay a bit more than the others? it could become quite nit-picking and I hope serious consideration is given to all the pros and cons before changing what we have now - you know the saying - "if it ain't broke, why fix it?" Anyway, as I can't be there on Sunday, these are just my views on it - cheers, Trisha.

Hey Joolz, I've been okay and you? I think people are getting ready for their winter hibernation.. lol. Did you put your green stripes on your car yet? Been thinking about that and I reckon it should look good - look forward to seeing it - it'll look like a different car but still good. Well this meeting was run and excellent turnout at the settlers. i would congrats to all the people for attending this event as we needed feed back on all issues. The next one will be held around june/ july. Hope all can attend.
