Default Ferrodo Pads?

Hi Matt,

What pads made by Ferrodo will fit my 4 piston brembo's? (car is sig).

I'm looking at DS2500 (which I've got already), DS3000, DS300E, DS3000+03, DS1.11, DS2.11.

I'm looking at some serious track pads, that will go in when I change my wheels over, thus only being used on the track.

The Lucas pads you sold me (or Grum picked them up anyway) after my pads decided to magically disappear at eastern creek on wednesday gone, are doing fine for street duties.

Also, if we are looking at some serious track pads, is there any others i should consider?

Pagid RS or pagid yellows for example? Any others?

Thanks for the advice,
Gab.

Gab there is only one size pad for your brembo 4 piston front calipers but there are many materials you can use from various suppliers like Endless,Hawk,Project Mu,Ferodo and Pagid.
Race pad prices start from $389 for a set of Ferodo DS3000 up to $950 for Endless pads that are good for endurance racing.
What kind of racing are you doing and i will quote some different brands and more accurate prices.

Ok, doing supersprints and trackdays, 4 or 5 hard laps at a time. The 2500's only lasted 2 Wakefield days and one EC day, and one of the WP days was just doordoling. Maybe I'm being a little unrealistic, but I would like the pads to last a bit more than that, possibly 5 hard days with a solid bite. Endurance isn't really what I need, due to me only doing a session (4-5 laps) at a time, with cool down in between, but I'm sure you'll point me in the right direction.

The Endless ME20 brake pads are a good choice at $550 a set but what do you run in the rear?

I haven't changed the rear yet, simply havent't had to.
I'm all ears for recommendations. The rotors should be fine for another year or so yet.

Alot of people do not change the rear pads and this can cause the fronts to wear premature as all the braking is done on the fronts. For a better brake balance i would suggest replacing the rear pads with something that is street/track worthy for that extra help. What rear set up do you have?

Normal GT-P smaller 4 piston brembo's.
So maybe a DS2500 in the rear with the higher spec Endless pads in the front? Sounds good to me.
