brembo upgrade for a BA XR8

im after a front and rear brake upgrade for my BA XR8

how much for brembos front and back inc braided lines, dba rotors and decent pads?

You can get the 4 pot fronts and 2 pot rears for much less than $7k...I think I've seen the 4 pot front kit on Ebay for around $2,500..and the rears are cheaper than that.....If cash is an issue do the fronts first

cash isnt the issue, ive had brembos before so i know how awesome they are

$7k is a bit extreme as ive seen them go for MUCH less

ive been watching ebay for a while, and right now there seems to be bugger all going, i shouldve grabbed them months ago while they were there

If you want the same set up as the factory BA Brembo's with DBA and braided lines then you will pay about $6500 for those kits.There are Brembo kits that are cheaper but the front caliper does not sit in the factory BA position although you can get the kit to fit and these are the ones you see on ebay for sale because technically they don't fit a BA or BF and for us to supply those kits with the braided lines and DBA rotors (front 1 piece rotor ) will cost you about $5800 in the 6/4 kit.The 4/4 kit is about $5200 with DBA rotors and braided lines.
The prices you see on ebay are ridiculous in some instances and i hope you understand we can't always compete with those prices when they are disposing of stock.The brake lines that come with the FG kits they are selling on ebay also need to be replaced as they will not fit most of the early model applications.

Brembo do not make a 2 pot rear kit sorry and we can supply the front 4 pot kits from $2500 but all this stock is limited and you will find that the kits will become less available and prices will increase soon.

whats the difference between the 1 piece rotor and the 2 piece? i had 1 piece rotors on my last car (magna with evo7 brembos) and they seemed fine

The 1 piece rotor is cast as a single unit being hat and rotor combined.
The 2 piece rotor has a alloy hat bolted to the disc so they can be separated.The 2 piece is lighter and also keeps cooler around the hub area as it disperses heat better.

do the callipers only come in red? or can i get them in other colors?

The brembo calipers only come in red but we can get other kits with different caliper colours and styles but these start from $5500 for a 4/4 kit up to $9000 for a 6/4 kit.

1. What does this include, calipers and what else?

2. Do you trade?...If so would you trade in the blue PBR 2 pots which I currently have as fitted standard to the BA GT? and what sort of trade in $ would i expect on those?

The kit is complete with calipers,pads,rubber lines,brackets and slotted rotors.
I don't really trade sorry but as i have many ford people through the door i can try and put some people your way to sell them.Not sure on what you would get for them at the moment though.
