Hi all,
If anyone lives in Werribee or west Melbourne I'm looking for driver side door trim for a series 1 BA XT. just for a spare. Specifically looking for one that isn't worn out around the place where we all put our right elbow lol. And the wooden plank that goes over the spare wheel in the sedans. Was planning to go to wreckers but if anyone has these, hit me up! Cheers! Paul M.

Yeah I know, but was just wanting to see if any members wanted to get rid of theirs before going to eBay

You might be better off making your own spare wheel cover, the genuine ones look like they were made for a different car by the way they (don't) fit.

Ended up grabbing one the other day. Yes it does seem a little small, but certainly better than the carboard I had been using! I'm thinking about putting marine carpet over it to spice it up a bit.
As for the door cards, the old girl need new ball joints and rose bushes so that's gone out the window for this year at least :(

hahaaha I thought that wooden plank was the previous owner's cheap attempt at a spare wheel cover so I threw it out years ago..... then I realised its purpose. In hindsight it did a good job, thin and somewhat sturdy.

Originals are masonite and not good for holding up anymore than groceries...
Get some 3 ply and fibreglass it. |
