Default SR2 Mods help

Hi, looking at buying a very low K's SR2. I'm a bit of a rev head owning also a BA XR8 and racing circuit black top and would like to know what inexpensive mods are available to push up the KW's a little from the 98 to 120 - 130ish... I don't want to go outrageous just a bit more poke.

Thanks

There's nothing you can do to the N/A engine to get those numbers.. At best you'll get +10kW from a few thousand dollars. People are putting in the older TX3 1.8L DOHC Turbo engines in the SR2's to give them a lot more potential.

I'm a little confused as this is a multipoint fuel injected DOHC motor (2 litre), surely there is a chip mod that will help a little (maybe not 20-30kw)? I know they got more out of the 1.8l BTA motor than the 2l in the Escort, is it still the same with this?

If there's an easier solution I don't know about it; I wouldn't think so if everyone is just putting the older turbo engines in.
