Question 84 to 86 engine swap

Will an 84 telstar engine bolt straight into an 86 telstar body????? they both manual...

83-87 were all fitted with a 2 ltr motor and have the same chassis shape

the manual gearboxes didnt change externally

as a suggestion I would check the rear main seal / timing belt
the water pump/welsh plugs before fitting into the car

go for it you are going backwards so the modification does not need engineering
