Somethings wrong their mate my old lady's sounds are pretty loud for factory. Try running an aftermarket setup . Their not the greatest speakers even my BF isn't really that loud and it has a premium sound system in it could be better though

So will a set of speakers make a good difference?

Replace the back door speakers with good quality high efficiency mid/bass units, install a crossover on the rear door speaker cables and direct the high frequency signal to a pair of high power gimble tweeters mounted in the C pillars. Then replace the sub amp with one from a 08/9 Fusion from the USA

If your gonna just replace speakers then just use the factory wiring the amp isn't to bad you can run a 12' off it and sounds better than the factory one but pioneer have a free flowing sub that works awesome. Im in the process of replacing everything with aftermarket just need to fit some new speakers and I'm done.
