Default WS Fiesta LH Indicators not working.

Hi,

My wife has a 2011 WS Fiesta Zetec, only done 70000km, just recently she has had the Left Hand Indicators stop working. Front, side mirror and rear.
The LH indication on the dash flashes once, and then nothing.
No LH Indicators when hazards are on either.

Ive done the easy things, removed and checked the bulbs, they are all good, but when they are all removed, Im getting a short circuit across the terminals.

Not sure if this is correct.

Im thinking its the flasher/relay for the LH side has failed. And I believe its part of the indicator stalk.

Has anyone else run across this problem?
And if so, have you been able to fix it, and what was the problem, and the fix?

Thanks in advance.
