Default Stuck in "Threaded" mode

As per the title - I want to view threads in "Linear", and I've checked on the settings page that it's correctly set to "Linear", but it will still only display "Threaded".

However....when I log on using our laptop, all is fine, it's only stuck in "Threaded" when using the PC. Is there something else I need to change? It was always fine up until a couple of weeks ago, and neither my wife or I have changed any settings (that we know of....)

Help?

Log off from the forums, delete all your cookies, cache and temp files, I would suggest to download the program from www.ccleaner.com and run this every now and then as it will do a better job.

Log back on and you should be fine

Ah, that's sorted it, thanks for your help. Probably pretty obvious if you have any computer skills whatsoever......not so easy for a computer spastic like me though!

Thanks again.
