Smile Wagon going XR shape

Finally obtained an XR frontbar for my wagon and had it fitted. Still missing XR headlights so if any offers please let me know. Not too expensive though, otherwise can't afford it.

Now to design matching decals stickers to flow the white effect from bumper through to the rest of the body.

Just be careful with secondhand BA/F headlights. They are multilayered polycarbonite lenses, and cannot be sucessfully polished, at least to original anyway. Talk to The Dok about anything headlights. He will sort your lighting ailments.

nah definitely paint it, it will look 100x better all in body colour than trying to use vinyl to make it match in.

have seen someone fit xr light covers over their XT lights when they put a GT bar on, youd be surprised how good they work as a cheap option - even in the flesh

Keep it as is. Two tone paint jobs are coming back into fashion.

Painting is the expensive part. The Dok will look after you on the headlight front, just got to find a paint shop that will some to the table.

you make it sound easy, consider when you have a family & kids to take care of, rent to pay, bills (phone, electricity, insurance, kid's school fees, etc), & lastly petrol. its very difficult to save for us, spare change is luxury for us. sorry but i don't have such a good paying job such as you. so "cheapest" is definately part of my vocabulary at the moment.

pete leave the bar off until it is painted....if it takes a while to save the money to spray it then so be it, it ruins it being wrong colours, might aswell be a skyline

so far here is the progress:

* added decals on both sides of indicator lights.
* acquire XR6 mag wheels. (finally no more fake mags - hooray).
* new K&N panel filter. (more induction noise & more responsive & more petrol usage).
* off goes rear muffler & replaced pipe through. (sounds drone but better than stock).
* currently painting red brake calipers. (looks hot now that my brakes are visible).
