well the intercooler has now been fitted and looks hot
hints to fit a typhoon cooler (use fvp brackets) and you have to drill holes also move the horn (using headlight bolt on the side) i would not say its a walk in the park to fit a bit fiddle etc well worth the effort in the end here are some pics

ha ha the cup was to keep all the bolts/nuts and screws in havnt driven it yet have all my family over for the weekend and 3 cars in the drive way will have to wait until sunday night to see if it makes a difference
(check out the fat clamps from pirtek) on the hoses

well the mods continue my car is going to be used by a suspension place for research and development of some new goodies for the bf range best part is all the parts stay on including some extras,,,,,,,

diff mount rear
diff mount front inserts
rear blade arm bushes
if time permits we may even get adjustable upper arms?????

front adjustable sway bar/means it gets a rear as well.plus a few extras

I noticed a BTA sticker on the cooler in one of the pics.
Is this a stock Typhoon cooler, or a BTA aftermarket?

Looking good, can't wait to check it out tomorrow night at the meeting.

no its a gen/ford part (i have connections) dressed it up with a bta sticker yer wont be there friday night (car wont ) ill be there in my honda jazz courtesy vehicle the turbo is getting all the suspension done at redranger suspension be there for a week or two (and pending tax return will then head to bta for remaining mods 12 sec qtrs here i come)

updated xr6t is also getting lowered had a call from suspension place and asked if they could put in a set of lowered springs at cost g what should i do (um yer ) should sit nice just above tyres cant wait to get it back

updated list of suspension mods
Front adjustable sway bar
Front screw type adjustable upper inner brackets
Front lower control arm front bushes
Front lowered springs

Rear lowered springs
Rear adjustable sway bar
Rear blade arm bushes
Rear diff rear mount bush, your one is busted.
Rear diff front mount inserts, first ones to test. (test kit)
Rear upper inner adjustable camber arm bushes.
now once i get the car back ill take it for a spin should handle like a go kart

Sounds promising Matt. The amount of BAs that come to work with the rear diff bush busted is high to say the least.

have finally got the car back it is a different car to drive feels solid and the few corners i have gone into hard the car handled it realy well amazing to drive also now the diff bush is fixed it launches alot harder and on top of that it looks hot well next i just have to get it to run a 12sec qtr (soon watch this space)

Is the Diff bush a commen problem as when i got my car back from its service last week they told me mine needs doing aswell??
