Well, 5 days late, after a 10 hour labour, my lovely wife delivered our first baby! James Michael Wait was born this morning at 7:15 at a spritely 8lb,13oz(just over 4kg). Delivered naturally, without drugs! Both mother and baby are very healthy and happy although tired. Dad is absolutely knackered after a big night of having his hand crushed. I'll try and get some pics up over the next couple of days.

that explains a lot of reasons ! well when i saw you on the bay road and i saw this person flash their lights so i thought it must of been the boys in blue 5 min later i though ohh that was michael, congrats on the new arrival you must be stocked, well i wonder if your son will change his under pants as offen as you change your cars lol that what he will inherit from you ! well if he changes his underwear 2 in one day well you know he is on the right path ! dont forget to lather him up in ford stuff

The little fella is now safely at home. Him and mum are both tired but happy.

Isent that a big baby at 4kg???? im new to this so dont know how much they should weight

I dont know you man, but Congrats! i have 2 nieces and they are the greatest thing in the world! I look forward to seeing lil pics of the lil one in ford gear

Cheers guys. Yeah, stangard baby size is 6-8lb. This one was 8lb,13.
He is a gorgeous little guy and it feels great to be a dad!

Cheers mate, sounds a lot like our first trip home, only we had to come from the bay.
I got to the car(which was a decent walk from the entrance) and remembered that I own a dark blue car which, while sitting in the say, may as well be black. So I opened the windows and got the air con cranking, then went to put him in his capsule, only to realise it was set for a much bigger baby. Mum spent 10 minutes calming her poor little boy in the passenger seat while dad fixed the capsule. Got him in and realised we had nothing to stop his head from flopping about. Mum sat next to him the whole way home, trying to stop his head from moving. Then a half hours trip home on the bumpy bay rd. Fortunately, he enjoyed it. I didn't. But, he is settled at home now. First night was a bit rough but we are passed that. He is asleep on mum's front while she sleeps on her back.
