If they offend Harold Scruby just once and result in him calling for the shows cancellation, then I will say the show and my watching it was worth it.

Joshua Dowling? FFS, it will be a Holden can do no wrong affair with him.

As for the others, I hope they pull it off but can't imagine the stars in the reasonably priced car segment being as good; instead of Gordon Ramsay they'll have that fat bloke from channel 10, and I'll bet our Prius driving PM will be on there too.
BTW, it will be filmed in NSW mostly and here they use video evidence to see if someone was speeding so the challenges will be rubbish. Hopefully though they do bag the crap out of the RTA, Vic Roads etc and those purporting to push road safety when they really just want revenue. Oh, and it better not be PC if they want it to have a hope of working.

im so easy.. i can watch any decent car driving show but its gotta be REAL.. test drive on channel 9 is a total abortion.. its SO bias and everything reviewed has no negatives mentioned what soever.. its just a puppet to the companys offering the cars, top gear will dismiss the guts out of the latest greatest supercar if they dont like it and thats how ours needs to be.
Granted we dont have the exotic car culture that europe does but you can still make it work

It will be watched by millions of top gear fans all over the world most of which already have "dis is crap, australia suxxors" typed into their comment field and just waiting to press enter.

im looking foreward to it, realistically not expecting it to have veyrons racing aircraft etc. but I hope their photography and music is at least up to the same level, that way the FPVs will finally get a break. And if its holden biased... Ill throw up.
