It's 5 star US, so if it's an American ad it's a 5 star safety car.

I don't know if it has already been bought up but I know I get a little wound up every time that Holden add comes on with the hipster at end complaining he didn't want to drive a Holden that looks like his dad does!worlds gone soft if this is good marketing

That's a bizarre ad. Holden taking a pot shot at its own image and probably offending Commodore owners.

I dare say they are doing that to create hype on next year's model. The left over real commodores will sell anyway.

G'day , Then there's the Colorado or something similar ad that began with "Bloody Caravaners" ended up "Caravaners"...Holden or some do gooder banned the original ad with the Dad and the kid. Sanitised it for no reason and it lost it's humourous hit factor...End of story for the ad....Typical these days...Cheers Rod

Yep ! With one advert they have classified anyone who owns a pre 2017 model or Commodore as an old fogie who doesn't know anything about cars.
Condescending and insulting.

As much as I bag Holden, it's actually a good strategy. The bogan is no longer their target audience come October.

Slightly off topic, our TV antenna became unreliable about 4 years ago, and we largely stopped watching the box. Recently to our surprise, it was giving a reasonable signal. In the 4 years absence, it has been commented that the ads and reality TV shows are now dumber - like sliding from an IQ target of 90 to 70 in that time. At this rate of change, by 2022 the ads should be communicating in grunts, like in the movie 'Idiocracy'.

Unless it's the things on the things have broken off. Point the antenna towards the tower. Google maps works of you know where the tower is.,the faster method is just to point it the same direction as the other houses. Just a thought.

Best car advert of all time - maybe Ford should give this style a crack?

Warning, it is definitely NSFW - either aurally or visually (no nudity, just swearing)

Oh and turn captions on for even more giggles
