After some searching last night, a few clubs use the BP car park at Somerton for their events. Could be worth investigating me thinks... :eclipsee_

Yeah - it's been used for years..... need to check the surface though- I think it's normal carpark surface rather than the concreter of DECA. i checked the DECA centre at Carrum Downs and it's rough, not smooth..............

As i work around the corner from the BP you mention, i can tell you its not an ideal surface. The actual area you would use isn't concrete, and would rip into your tyres.

Thanks for that Steve...

I had a feeling it was still like that - it's still used by a lot of clubs (used to even do a round of the state Champs there), but we need smoother surface....

Oh well....we'll just keep looking.
