Hi Guys

My apologies for not replying on the forum as much as I should. It is very difficult for me to get time to reply to threads as I am very busy here at work.
Big Joes GT spun up 1038rwhp last Friday night. He took the vehicle to the power cruise last week end. He enjoyed the attention he attracted over the weekend. The project has come along well and Joe is very happy with the out come.

Regards Spiro

Spiro,

can you give me a price for the TT into a 03 BAGT manual. Info on what boost levels you are using and motor recomendations would be appreciated. Really trying to weigh up the big 3 - YT whipple charger, KB or the twin turbo route.

regards

Shane

Hi Spiro, how are ya. Just wondering if you were to build a BF XR8 and start from scratch, would you prefer the twin turbo set up on it, or the yella terra charger setup?

Hi Guys

I personally prefer turbo's. At the moment I am driving the 335 gt and loving it. What I would use if I was to build a car from scratch would depend on the power I was chasing. Up to 500 - 550rwkw I would more than likely go with a supercharger and for higher power levels I would be turbo charging. Please note that this is my personal preference and opinion only.

Cheers Spiro

What ever did happen with these, what was the cost for full fitment on a BA XR8 auto? As I thought airpowersystems in vic were the only ones to to a bolt on TT BOSS KIT... Or is this aps's kit, as I now remember you're one of their stockists.

There not a APS kit, Autotech fabricate there own kits in house, for more info I would call them if you want a kit fitted and pricing.

you're correct. the intercooler is different and intake plumbing is different, but turbo positioning and and exhaust plumbing look very similar. other than teh cooler air charge from below what was the other advantage to having the turbo side inlets entering from the top of the intercooler?

Probably check out GTP-370's build thread in the Performance Builds section of the forums as a first step.
