Default Got the GT Tuned

Took the GT to Spiro the other week, 384rwkw (515rwhp)
It feels like a different car, especially in 1st and 2nd, it's just an animal now
I'll scan and post the dyno sheet tomorrow

Congrats man. Its an entirely different car now. Did he do your trans as well? I need to go back and have my 1-2 shift softened a bit. Other than that I was more than happy with the tune he did for mine.

I wouldn't mind going, but I coach my 4 year old son's soccer team on Saturdays. Might stop around afterwards.

Bloody amazing!
Nice one, well done.
I'll spend closer to $8K getting not even 300rwkw on my N/A Boss!
These s/c'd motors are simply brilliant... and people still complain the GT's dont have illuminated toothpick holders like HSV.

HI mate,

am I reading this right, is the car now being spun 30kmh faster in the same gear, which I assume is 4th?

That would be at least a 1000rpm more wouldn't it?

Handy increase in torque btw!

He increased the limiter to 7000, not sure what it is standard. 6300?

Yeah, big difference down low

So essentially it made an extra 32rwkw at the same rpm with just a tune and filter. Great improvement really, especially with it doing this pretty much right across the rev range. I bet it feels a bit stronger now.

Benny.

I asked Spiro the same thing and he said it's sweet. They spin past that in the States but in NA trim.

I change about 6500 anyway, so not much more than standard.

The highest mine will ever see is 7000rpm, but that's only very rarely when I'm having a run with someone, otherwise 6500 is more than enough :-)
