Default Thank you Race Brakes.

Just before Christmas was time for me to do some muchly needed maintenance on the wifes BA Fairmont GHIA.

After speaking with RBA decided that a best option was to go for full set of slotted DBA rotors, and Project Mu NS400 performance street pads all round.

Had a slight issue with delivery, as Race Brakes were out of stock (I should have thought about that a little closer due to close proximity to Christmas break) Package arrived in very quick order (overnight delivery) albeit short of the front pads. I spoke with Matt, and he organised to get them sent from suppliers direct, and even offered to personally deliver them that weekend, if there was any further delivery issues (issue was with delivery from supplier to race brakes aus).
Whilst this did drive me to distraction at the time, it is these little issues that define us. and in fairness to Matt, he handled the issue to my satisfaction.

Have had the rotors / pads on the car for a couple of months now, and after short bedding in period, have been quite happy with the combination. Good confident pedal feel, whilst I have not had pads off, wear rotor / pad wear in that time is nothing to be overly concerned about (ie no abnormal shudder / scoring / noises etc). Perhaps the only small item of note is that they are a bit on the dirty side.

As you can see from the following pictures - the actual changeover is pretty much childsplay. The lad did have an experienced set of eyes / hands guiding him through the process, doing the heavier lifting etc.

Overall I'm very happy with the setup, and happy with the service I received.
nb - if you have an issue with ANY parts seller - contact them and see how they handle the issue. If they are unaware, they can't do anything to rectify the situation.

Thank you Race Brakes Australia..
