Default timing problems

hi there,i am having problems with my ,97 festiva it runs the mazda b5 engine 1.5 sohc efi. this motor was used in the 121 and 323 i believe.
the trouble is the timing has moved, we have moved the dissy back as far as we can to get it to run it seems to be about 60deg out.
wondering if anyone has come across a similiar problem, we are thinking cam or timing belt.
any thoughts appreciated.

Sounds like it may have jumped a tooth or something perhaps. I had something similar happen with my old Alfa GTV6 which had particularly sensitive timing.
