So close Troy, lets hope you post up a good ending.

Thank goodness the money didn't get lost. There was a story a while back about someone who transferred a LOT of money into the wrong bank account and the owners of that account wouldn't give it back because they didn't have to.

He just left, with a HUGE smile on his face as he drove off, he seemed VERY happy with it. He said the scratches don't bother him, because he plans to take it back to bare metal and respray it.

I picked him up from the train station, and the first words he said when he saw the Escort were "My new toy", and from then on he just didn't stop grinning like the cat that got the canary.

And I got my money for it, no problem, so it seems it all ended out well.

Now just excuse me - I'm just a little upset to see my pride and joy driven away by someone else.

Yes and no. Yes in that I finally have the money that I need, but no because I never wanted to sell it in the first place, and I know I'll miss it. Oh well, I'll just have to get another one one day, and believe me, I will! As reliable and easy to work on as the XF is, it's a poor substitute for a Ford Escort.

Hahaha, nah, the plan is to have a job well before rego is due next year. At least, that is the plan...
