Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway. Top Holden of the Week  A brilliant blue and chrome-bumpered Holden FJ makes our Holden Pick of the Week, and with the important numbers coming in at 14.2 @ 96MPH, these classic cars prove week after week that age too, is a just a number. Top Ford of the Week  These modern Fords always surprise us with the awesome times they’re pulling. This sleeper-spec bronze FG Falcon ute went for 10.9 @ 136MPH. Top Japanese of the Week  Normally destined for a set of twisties, this suave supercharged Honda S2000 went for 12.4 @ 121MPH. Top Rotary of the Week  The name Sadek should ring a few bells for those in the know. ‘The Godfather’ Sam Sadek’s son Jay was out in his Pac Performance-built Mazda RX4. On its first outing, ‘Boss Jnr’ went for a crazy 9.7 @ 137MPH. ‘Chip off the old block’, they reckon, and we agree. Top Euro of the Week  These beasts are rare in the wild and even rarer in full drag mode. This Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK Black Series was slicked up and ready for the sprint, going 10.8 @ 127MPH. Commentators Pick of the Week  The pick this week from our commentators Frank and Stuart is this Holden HQ. With a HJ/HX conversion, the lime green dream went gangbusters for an 11.5 @ 117MPH on street radials. Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting.
