Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway. Top Holden of the Week.  This week’s top Holden goes to this tough little Blue Torana. If the staggered tyres weren’t enough of a giveaway it wasn’t slow either, with a best pass of 12.08 @ 115.85 MPH. Top Ford of the Week  More and more of these classic Australian Fords are finding their way down to Sydney Dragway. This XW Falcon Ute got the job done and ran a quickest pass of 13.19 @ 107.6 MPH, taking home top ford of the week. Top Japanese of the Week  Top Japanese of the week had to go to this little rocket, DATYLD. The Datsun 1200 features rotary engine up front and some big ol’ tubs in the rear; all good for a quarter mile of 11.63 @ 124.9 MPH. Top Rotary of the Week  Top Rotor of the week went to this tidy FC RX7, they say red goes faster and that might well be true, with consistent times throughout the night and a best pass of 12.99 @ 105.6 MPH. Top European of the Week  The C63 is not an uncommon sight down at Sydney Dragway on a Wednesday night, though this Black Edition has been getting faster and faster every time we see it, almost seeing single digits with a fastest time of 10.17 @ 139.1 MPH. Commentators Pick of the Week  There was no competition for commentators pick this week, if seeing a lifted Hilux wasn’t already unique enough this one was also hiding a 2JZ under the hood. Taking lots of cars by surprise and crossing the line in 13.78 @ 106.7 MPH. Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets!
